Senior Innovation Facilitator

The Opportunity:
Reporting to and working directly with the CEO, the Senior Innovation Facilitator is responsible for designing and delivering effective training solutions for a wide range of audience types (executive level to sales to scientists). Utilizing the latest techniques in active learning and adult business education, the Senior Trainer and Facilitator will oversee the course development experience, taking existing course material and developing new content to create both short (90 minute) and muti-day interactive sessions that achieve measureable training results for futurethink’s innovation clients:
- Uses sound Instructional Design methodology to create course content (including e-learning courseware, software simulations and blended learning);
- Collaborates with Subject Matter Experts to design courses for effectiveness; ensures objectives are clear and promotes solid course design;
- Facilitates training sessions, identifying problems and effective solutions that achieve results;
- Evaluates the effectiveness of courses and continuously improves methods to increase effectiveness;
- Provides business analysis by monitoring trends in the business and recommending solutions to help meet business training objectives;
Qualifications:
- 10+ years experience in a training development, instructional design and/or teaching position;
- 5+ years experience in team facilitation;
- Demonstrated understanding and application of performance- based training and development techniques for adult learners – theory, curriculum design/development, delivery methods, training technology, and evaluation;
- Strong technical expertise in course development, assessments and eLearning tools;
- Skilled at facilitation, consensus building and/or conflict resolution and influencing stakeholders to bring project to completion;
- Well versed in range of cognitive learning styles;
- Expert at creating interactive activities to drive home learning goals;
- Energetic and able to invoke trust.
Candidates with experience teaching leadership, innovation or creativity related topics are preferred.
